Debate – Special Needs and Disability Funding 29th January 2020 in Westminster HallsRaising concern on exclusions of children in particular within academies in Luton, which shockingly has tripled within the last 5 years, especially considering many of the excluded children are children with special needs.Exclusion should only ever be the last resort, and not a tool to manage overall performance of a school or the result of a lack of funding.

Driver safety of smart motorways

Drivers and passengers need to feel safe on our motorways. I'm calling on the government to properly review the safety of smart motorways after a recent tragic series of deaths on a stretch of the M1 near Luton. I spoke to BBC Look East yesterday evening.
